About Us


Western Office Equipment was established October 1954 in Billngs, MT by Greg Erickson and Kenneth Rambold. With over 50 years of business in Montana, Western Office can boast to be one of the oldest and longest serving office equipment establishments in Billings and the surrounding region.

The original stockholders bought another store in Great Falls, MT, then expanded to Helena and later, Spokane, WA. Then in the mid 1970's they sold the stores in both Helena and Great Falls. Currently there are two stores, owned separately; one in Billings and the other in Spokane. When Kenneth Rambold retired, Greg Erickson took over and Earl Herman then partnered with Greg.

Since those early days, WOE, as called by employees, has sold office equipment: desks, chairs, typewriters, printers, and dictators & transcription machines. WOE also services all equipment they sell. Additionally, we also sell and service computers, digital dictation and digital transcription equipment.

Western Office has a staff of seven employees, including the two owners.
